McKENZIE SCHWARTZ

Mckenzie Schwartz is an Eagle Scout from Troop 67 in Spartanburg, SC. Joining Cub Scouts in 2017, and then later finding her home within Troop 67 in 2022, and subsequently joining Skyuka Lodge as an Ordeal member the following year, along with gaining Brotherhood that same year. Kenzie is an active member of the ceremonies team. Kenzie has served as Secretary since the summer of 2025, and was awarded the Founders Award for 2025.

COLE TAYLOR

Webmaster Advisor

Cole Taylor joined Scouting in 2009 as a Weblos I in Pack 61 of Chester, South Carolina, where he earned his Arrow of Light before “bridging over” to Troop 61 of Chester, South Carolina, where he ultimately earned the rank of Eagle Scout.  Cole was inducted into the Order of the Arrow in Skyuka Lodge in 2013 and sealed his membership in the Order through Brotherhood conversion in 2014.  Cole was selected to receive the Vigil honor in 2016 and kept his Vigil in 2017, being given the name Achewon Takachsin, or “Reverant Leader.”  Cole has served as Chester Chapter Chief, Lodge Treasurer, Vice Chief of Inductions, Vice Chief of American Indian Affairs, and Skyuka Lodge Chief from 2016-2017, and 2021.  Cole has also served Section SR5, now E7, as Training Coordinator, Section Vice Chief, and Section Chief.  Following Cole’s time as a youth, Cole has served as Catawba Chapter Adviser and Digital and Print Media Adviser.  Cole is a recipient of both the Skyuka Lodge Indian on the Mountain Award (2017) and the Order of the Arrow Founder’s Award (2018).

JOSEPH COHEN

Associate Webmaster Advisor

Joseph Cohen is an Eagle Scout from Troop 275 in Indian Land, SC. He has been in Scouts since 2011, beginning his scouting career in Pack 717 and later in Troop 4016 in the Hudson Valley Council in New York. He has been in the OA since Summer Ordeal 2019 with Skyuka Lodge. He went through his Brotherhood in the Fall of 2020 and received his Vigil honor in 2023. He was the York Chapter Chief for the lodge in 2022, the VCAIA for the lodge in 2024, and Lodge Chief in 2025. He was awarded the Founders award in 2024.
